Once you contact Jason, and book your lessons, he'll send you a secure link to submit your payment.
Are missed lessons refundable?
Because a day and time has been set aside for each student, missed lessons are non-refundable. It's important to pick a day and time that works best with your schedule when you book your drum lessons. If you miss a lesson you can login to your dayone drummer profile to retrieve a pre-recorded lesson.
What is your cancelation policy?
Because specific time slots are reserved for each student refunds for missed lessons are not issued and It's important to pick a lesson package that works best for you each month. Just like the coach from a sport team expects their players to make practice, I do the same with drum lessons. If you know you are going on vacation or have another conflict in a particular month that will prevent you from making a majority of your lessons it's important to plan ahead and make adjustments as needed with the package that will work best for you.
Will I be charged if you cancel a lesson?
I will never charge you if I need to cancel one of our lessons. Things come up and it happens. In this case you'll be credited a lesson for the next billing cycle.
Am I locked in long term when I sign up for Private lessons?
You are not locked in long term when you sign up for private lessons. Weekly Students are committing to 4 consecutive lessons. Bi-weekly are committing to 2 lessons. And as needed students are committing to just one lesson.
What do I do if I need to stop lessons?
If you need to stop lessons, you can login to your DayOne Drummer profile, go to your billing and cancel your lesson subscription. You will be able to finish out the lessons you have paid for and will not be charged anymore after your current billing cycle is up.
Can I book a lesson here and there as I feel I need them?
Yes! You can take lessons as little or often as you wish. Please Check out the private lessons pricing page for our current prices on Private lessons based on weekly, biweekly or single lessons.
How long are private lessons?
Most students opt for either a 30 minute or 60 minute lesson. This normally depends on many factors such as the students age, how far they are traveling for the lesson, how often they are taking lessons etc. If you wish to come weekly you may prefer a 30 minute lesson. If you are coming once or twice a month and traveling an hour or more for your lesson you may want to have a 60 minute lesson or longer.
